Budo Spirit

Shin · Gi · Tai — mind, technique and body

IMAC Dojo treats martial arts development as a balance of three elements, not simply the ability to perform techniques or defeat an opponent.

Shin — a steady mind

Develop patience, focus, respect and responsibility toward yourself, your instructors and training partners.

Gi — understood technique

Learn fundamentals in sequence, repeat them, analyse their application and understand why each movement works.

Tai — a prepared body

Develop strength, mobility, balance and body control appropriate for a sustained training journey.
